Deposit INR to your WazirX account - Process & Time Taken

You can add INR to your WazirX wallet via UPI (recommended), IMPS, NEFT or RTGS. Fast Deposit via UPI

We strongly recommend that you deposit money via the UPI option as it is fast, free and you can deposit upto Rs 2 Lakhs. To add INR to your WazirX wallet via UPI, follow the steps below -

Click on Funds in the top bar
Under Indian Rupee, Click on the Deposit button
Link your bank account by entering your Bank details from which you will deposit the funds. The name you enter MUST match the name on your WazirX account.
Click on the UPI option
Next, you will see the WazirX UPI Address to which you need to make the deposit. You will also see your registered mobile number as theRemark/Note that you need to add to your UPI app when you make the transaction. Do not forget to add this mobile number when making the transaction.
Go ahead and complete the transaction on your UPI app. Your deposit will be done within 15 mins of completing the transaction.

IMPS/NEFT/RTGS
INR withdrawal & Diposit India Bitcoin

If you prefer to make a deposit via IMPS/NEFT/RTGS, please follow the steps below -

Click on Funds in the top bar
Under Indian Rupee, Click on the Deposit button
Link your bank account by entering your Bank details from which you will deposit the funds. The name you enter MUST match the name on your WazirX account.
Click on the IMPS/NEFT/RTGS
Next, you will see the WazirX bank details. Follow the steps to deposit INR to the WazirX bank account via IMPS, NEFT or RTGS
Do not forget this step - Come back to WazirX and click on the Add Transfer Details button
Enter the Deposit Amount & Transaction ID and tap Proceed. This helps us track your deposit faster.

How much time will it take for my deposit to reflect in WazirX?

UPI Deposits - Your account will be credited within 15 mins if you've added the right mobile number to your UPI transaction.

IMPS/NEFT/RTGS - At the moment, you should consider 24 working hours as the maximum time it will take for IMPS/NEFT/RTGS deposits to reflect. Most deposits happen in a much shorter time (even 1 hour). Please try and avoid contacting the support team unless your deposit has not reflected for more than 48 hours.

Withdraw INR from your WazirX account - Process & Time taken

You can withdraw INR from your WazirX account and move it to your linked Bank account. To withdraw INR from your WazirX account, follow the steps below -

Click on Funds in the top bar
Under Indian Rupee, Click on the Withdraw button
If you have already linked your Bank account, this step will be skipped. If not, Link your bank account by entering your Bank details. (Read more - Adding your Bank Account details to WazirX)
Enter the Amount & Optional Remarks and tap Withdraw.

How much time will it take for the withdrawal to reflect in my bank account?

We process all withdrawal requests at around 5 PM every working day (Monday to Friday). Withdrawal requests received before 4:30 PMwill be processed on the same day. Requests received after 4:30 PM will be processed on the next working day.

When we have completed the withdrawal process on our end, you will see the status on your Funds screen as Done or Success. Depending on which bank you have an account with, the funds should be credited to your account within 24-48 hours after we have processed your withdrawal request.

Please try and avoid contacting the support team unless your withdrawal has not reflected for more than 48 hours.

Can I withdraw my money from WazirX account to someone else's bank account?

No. The withdrawal will only happen to the Bank account that you have linked to your WazirX account. The name on the Bank account that you link MUST match the name on your WazirX account.

Guide to Signing Up & KYC Verification

Signing up for a WazirX account is a super simple process.

The first thing you should do is head over to the Sign Up page. You can do this by clicking on the Sign-Up button at the top right of your screen.

Next, you'll be taken through a quick 4 step process so you can create a login and submit your details for verification.

Step 1 - Email ID & Password

The first step in the sign-up process is to choose a login email address and set a password.

Email - Enter your complete email address. This is the email address you will use to login and also receive any communication from us. You cannot change your login email address later.

Password - Enter a strong password that you will remember. Passwords must be atleast 6 characters long and a maximum of 64 characters. We recommend using passwords longer than 10 characters. Do not use passwords that you've already used on another website. Try and mix special characters like @#$%^&-* along with capitals and numerics in your password.

Step 2 - Email Verification

Once you've entered your email, password and clicked on sign up, you will receive a verification email at your email address.

Click on the Verify Email button in the email. You will be taken back to the WazirX website where your verification will be confirmed! Note that the verification email is only valid for 15 minutes. If you do not verify in 15 minutes, login to your WazirX account again and click on the Resend verification email button.

Why have I not received the verification email?

In some cases, it can take up to 10 minutes for the verification email to arrive. Please be patient. If the email has still not arrived, please check your spam/junk/promotions folder. If you find the email in your spam/junk/promotions folder, mark them as not spam/junk.

Resend Email - You can also ask WazirX to resend the email by clicking on the Resend verification email button.

Step 3 - Mobile Verification

After verifying your email, the next step is to verify your mobile number.

Mobile number - Enter your 10 digit Indian mobile number. Do not include country code or '0' at the start. This will also be the number at which you will receive an OTP when logging into your WazirX account.

Verification OTP - You will receive an OTP via an SMS. Enter the OTP in the verification box and click verify.
